FAQ NCOCA Lokahi Outrigger Canoe Club is a California public-benefit, non-profit 501(c)4 organization.

 

 

races throughout Northern California. Lokahi also fields crews which participate in nationally competitive long distance races on the mainland and in Hawaii. The club presents a cultural experience of outrigger canoe paddling with exposure to Hawaiian song and dance and other elements of Hawaiian culture. Located in Petaluma, Sonoma County, CA Lokahi Outrigger Canoe Club is a non-profit organization, which supports itself through modest membership dues, tax deductible contributions from individuals and fund raising activities in the community.

Lokahi Outrigger Canoe Club is a member of the Northern California Outrigger Canoe Association (NCOCA). The NCOCA is a member of the International Polynesian Canoe Federation (IPCF), Pacific Outrigger Canoe Association and the Pacific Islanders' Cultural Association (PICA).

Lokahi Outrigger Canoe Club was founded in 1992 and provides recreational and competitive paddling experiences for people of all ages living in the North Bay. Club activities include the summer sprint race season and a number of long distance
