FAQ NCOCA Lokahi Outrigger Canoe Club is a California public-benefit, non-profit 501(c)4 organization.

 

Lokahi Outrigger Canoe Club of Sonoma County. A Member of the Northern California Outrigger Canoe Association.

Established in 1992 --
June 12th, 1992 the first known outrigger canoe was launched in the Petaluma river. The twelve founding members wanted the purpose of this Hawaiian outrigger canoe club to organize, encourage and promote Hawaiian ways through cultural interaction with community awareness built around health, fitness, sportsmanship, recreation and to perpetuate the Hawaiian " Aloha Spirit".
