Updates
Updated June 19, 2013:
Aloha Lokahi! This Saturday, our sprint regatta will be at Shadow Cliffs in Pleasanton, be hosted by HPOCC. They will be celebrating their 15 year anniversary and will be planning several fun activities to be held throughout the day.
(Keiki scavenger hunt, wackiest/best/worst shorts contest just to name a few with prizes to be given out during the day)
They have also teamed up with the Second Harvest Food Bank of San Mateo County and are encouraging all paddlers, families and friends to bring can foods that can be donated to their great organization on behalf of our NCOCA ohana. Their keikis will come around in the afternoon to pick them up.
When you enter the park and pay at the booth, head all the way towards the end of the lake to park. That is where we will be launching from. You should see a lot of canoes there. (This venue, the canoes and cars park in the same lot). It’s going to be 90 degrees! Please bring LOTS of water to hydrate & stay in the shade as much as possible.
The schedule is planned as the last regatta with the races starting at 9am.
Please see your coach with any questions.
Here is the flyer with information: 2013 Regatta #2 – Shadow Cliffs
